Botanical name:   Vigna radiata

It belongs to the species Vigna radiata. The mung bean or Chinese bean is an herbaceous legume, with an annual vegetative cycle, with erect and fickle growth. This species is native to Southeast Asia and India; however, it is also cultivated in the southern part of Peru.
